Doctors for Doctors (D4D1) One-Day Seminar - Introduction (POSTPONED)

THIS EVENT HAS NOW BEEN POSTPONED. WE WILL BE HOLDING THE TRAINING AT A LATER DATE. Please email Program Officer, Kiara Cannizzaro if you wish to be notified directly about this training.

This popular one-day educational event has been running since 2009 and registrants have found it both personally and professionally fulfilling.

It explores the mental health, physical health and medicolegal issues affecting doctors, along with ways to overcome barriers and to optimise the consultation.

This training is for experienced urban and rural GPs with Fellowships who treat other doctors and want to know more.

For more information or directly register contact Program Officer, Kiara Cannizzaro via email

The format is facilitated and interactive with a mix of didactic presentations, videos, case studies and small and larger group discussion. It is fully catered and we also like to lead by example and “walk- the- doc” at lunch time!

The course accreditation has been submitted for points allocation of:

  1. 40 Cat 1 RACGP QI&CPD points
  2. 30 ACRRM PDP points and
  3. 5 MIGA IRM points (MIGA has supported this training as part of its leading commitment to doctors’ health in Australia and in recognition of the link between poor doctor health and the potential for litigation)
