Cancer Council SA Peer Support Network

Sep26
Cancer Council SA Function Room, 202 Greenhill Road, Eastwood

Peer support for GPs, nurses, pharmacists and allied health professionals.

Why come? Cancer-related distress can affect our patients/ clients, as well as ourselves, so self-care is important. Evidence suggests being a member of a peer group can help prevent isolation, stress and burnout. Struggling with a difficult case, keen to debrief or learn from others? Come along to network, gain new perspectives from the interdisciplinary team and find peer support.

Download event flyer for September 26th inaugural network meeting where Dr Lisa Beatty, a clinical psychologist and Cancer Council SA Postdoctoral Fellow (Cancer Support) will share about cancer-related distress and the free Finding My Way online intervention she developed for improving physical and mental wellbeing during cancer treatment.
