Life as a healthcare professional can be highly rewarding and nearly always challenging. The pandemic has added another level of uncertainty and pressure on our lives. More than ever, we need to give ourselves the gift of restorative self care practices based in mindful awareness, kindness and gentle care of the body.
This workshop offers an opportunity to gather with like minded health carers to pause and ‘drop anchor’ in the midst of the storm. With a focus on wellbeing skills, self-compassion and stress management, you will be led through a range of mindfulness practices in the safety and comfort of your own home.
For those who have taken a mindfulness course before, this will help restore your regular mindfulness practice and increase compassionate responses to both yourself and those you work and live with.
For those new to mindfulness, it is an opportunity to get a taste of this approach and sense the possibility of living life in a different way.
