International Conference on Physician Health 2021 London
This important conference, supported by the British, American and Canadian Medical Associations, aims to support doctors and medical students to create better working environments for themselves and their colleagues.
Due to the ongoing pandemic, this conference will be an entirely online event, with an exciting schedule of presentations and interactive sessions to enable physicians across the globe to learn, connect and develop strategies and networks to support them. The conference will include inspirational keynote presentations, themed presentation streams, interactive networking sessions and opportunities to connect with colleagues.
CALL FOR ABSTRACTS: COVID-19 UPDATE
In addition to the abstracts that have already been accepted, we are launching a new and limited call for abstracts for short oral presentations (15 minutes) or posters with a focus on the following areas:
- Effects of pandemic on physical and mental health of individual physicians and their teams
- Innovations in physician health service development and provision in response to the pandemic
- Reviewers will also consider relevance of the submission to the overall conference theme: a vision for humanity in medicine
Please note that we are unable to consider any additional work without a strong COVID-19 focus.
You can find out more and submit your abstracts online at http://www.bma.org.uk/icph2021
Programme
The conference programme will be extended across five days, and to accommodate the international audience, live conference sessions will be scheduled across a number of different time zones, to enable as many people as possible to attend and interact. They envisage a ‘live’ three-hour session each day, and conference content will also be available on demand for three months post-event. Full details will be available in early January 2021.
Conference registration will open in January 2021 and full details of registration fees will be available then.
