Doctors' Health SA encourages doctors to explore Mindfulness as an important 'tool' for their self-care. We recently facilitated six (6) Building Resilience in Medicine (BRIM) workshops where doctor-participants were able to learn mindfulness suited to the environment in which they worked. This session was lead by local Adelaide Mindfulness practitioner, Dr Maura Kenny MBChB, MRCPsych, FRANZCP.

Maura is Consultant Psychiatrist and Coordinator of the Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) Programs at the Centre for the Treatment of Anxiety & Depression in SA Health who facilitates regular courses in Adelaide which you may also be interested in connecting to -view the details on our 'Mindfulness webpage' here.
