CrazySocks4Docs Annual Breakfast

Author and Psychiatry Registrar, Dr Ben Bravery joined the 2023 breakfast to share a little about his life story and his passion for patient advocacy. pk (Paul Kitching) was the MC and Ben's interviewer for the morning.

Over 300 people joined in on the 2023 Breakfast, some in Adelaide at the Convention Centre from which it was live streamed around Australia to an audience from Perth to Gove to Mount Gambier to Sydney.

This event continues to grow and support the important work of the Foundation in raising awareness and reducing stigma of health professionals mental health. 

It is hosted by the South Australian Salaried Medical Officers Association and Doctors' Health SA.

$16,000 was raised at the 2023 breakfast and was donated to the CrazySocks4Docs Foundation. Doctors' Health SA then provides a proposal to the Foundation for where some of the donation could be invested to implement a tangible positive activity for doctors and/or medical students.
